The Quinta is conveniently situated. Both the beach and the small authentic villages inland are near. There is something for each and everyone and we can also make some recommendations on which beach or which trip will suit you best during your stay. Below you can find a number of possibilities:

• Beaches: the idyllic bays around Albufeira and the extensive sandy beaches at Ilha de Tavira and Ilha de Fuseta.
• The countryside: vast hilly landscape with picturesque villages such as Alte and Querença.

• Old fishing villages like Cacela Velha, Tavira, Almancil and São Lourenço.
• Loulé: here you can shop, go to the famous Saturday market to stock up on souvenirs or have a delicious meal in one of the many restaurants. Loulé is one of the oldest cities of the Algarve and a favourite place for the people from the neighbouring villages to do their shopping.
• Walks: inland is perfect for splendid nature walks or strolls through authentic villages.
